The Magic Mountains

So we're a month away from the Olympics, being held in Vancouver. Whoever was involved in the Vancouver bid obviously used some of Job's magic. Not that Vancouver isn't a beautiful city or worthy host. They just don't get . . . winter. But I'm sure the athletes will enjoy the trip from the Olympic village to the rink or whatever in their shorts and flip-flops and umbrellas. Them mountains are magic. They must be. Just careful you don't end up sticking around for 7 years like Hans Castorp.
