We can probably all confess to being a little precious about our blogs when we start them. Kristy helped me get over myself quickly by starting her own and blowing me out of the water with her first post (and then going on to world domination with each succeeding post - check it out @ transformingbeauty.blogspot.com). Among many other amazing qualities, Kristy is prolific in things she's passionate about. It's wonderful when you discover and re-discover talents, abilities, and fresh shimmering facets in the person you love most. And it's that much better when it's something you love too (i.e. writing).
Oh yeah, but my confession is that I'm lagging severely behind, so occasionally I throw down pseudo-posts like the one before this. A psychological coping mechanism.
